Moorad Choudhry, head of treasury at RBS, told CNBC, "It is a hairy time at the moment if Greece was to leave the euro it would be catastrophic in many ways, so at the moment everyone is holding back whether you are an investor or a corporate there is so much uncertainty at the moment."
